Heart's whey & Heart's Whey Plus

This is a follow up on the research paper entitles "The Rooster Crows" written on the original whey-based milk alternate.

Heart's Whey & Heart's Whey Plus have now evolved to the point where some people believe they reduce cow's milk to a second-class produced in comparison!

Legacy distributors should be especially proud of their heart's Whey & Hearts whey Plus low-fat beverages which are celebrated as "the most significant breakthrough in the food science field this century. "We still believe it is appropriate for a rooster to continue to crow if he has the spurs to back it up." Following is a summary of a few of the Heart's Whey and Hearts Whey Plus spurs. Heart's Whey & Hearts Whey Plus has been investigated, tested, and critiqued by almost every state and food laboratory and university, including the US. FDA, USDA and many foreign countries.

Heart's Whey Plus contains less calories than vitamin D milk, 2% milk and 1& milk and approximately the same as nonfat dry milk.

Skim milk and Heart's Whey Plus contain virtually no cholesterol. 1% milk contains 10 mg, 2% contains 21 mg and vitamin d milk contains 32 mg per serving respectively. Heart's Whey Plus contains 35 percent USRDA per serving of calcium, cow's milk 30 percent of USRDA of calcium. Heart's Whey Plus contains 15 percent of USRDA of iron. Milk virtually no iron. Iron is one the nine critical nutrients as defined by the FDA. It has been estimated that one third of all American children are lacking dietary iron. Many young adults are also anemic due to lack of dietary iron.

Heart's Whey Plus contains five times the amount of vitamin A as found in vitamin D milk. Vitamin A deficiencies are not uncommon in our Western culture and throughout the world.

Heart's Whey Plus contains two times the amount of zinc as cow's milk. Zinc is important in the diet for many reasons. Zinc is the most prevalent trace element used in enzyme systems in the body. Zinc is also important to the development of sexual maturity.

Heart's Whey Plus contains over 10 times the amount of Niacin (B3) as cow's milk. Niacin expands blood vessels and promotes a satisfied feeling after eating.

Both quality and quantity of proteins found in Heart's Whey Plus tend to simulate human milk. Whey proteins are some of the most nutritious and complete proteins known to man. The protein found in Heart's Whey Plus is 90 percent whey protein and 10 percent casein. Cow's milk is 20 percent whey and 80 percent casein. Heart's Whey Plus proteins are complete proteins containing all essential amino acids.

Heart's Whey Plus contains a full load of trace elements (electrolytes) essentially the same as cow's milk. Trace elements are concentrated in the whey. Trace elements act as coenzymes, which interlock with protein to form enzymes. Enzymes are what drives the body functions. Some of the electrolytes (trace elements) found in whey are: iron, copper, zinc, manganese, boron, chromium, selenium, and iodine. The nine critical food nutrients as defined by the US. FDA are all found in Heart's Whey Plus in generous amounts.

Heart's Whey Plus has a unique carbohydrate balance containing six carbohydrates ranging from the simple to the complex. The carbohydrates unload their energy into the blood stream like a time-release capsule. They are excellent deterrents to the so-called sugar jolt which diabetics need to avoid when ingesting simple sugars. Complex carbohydrates have been recommended for weight control as opposed to simple sugars

Whey proteins contain relatively high levels of amino acid lysine, which makes them ideal as a supplementary protein used in conjunction with cereal grains. Heart's Whey Plus combined with wheat and honey makes an excellent survival package complete with essential nutrients.

Heart's Whey Plus contains only one-half of the amino acid Tryptophan as cow's milk. Tryptophan has been associated with drowsiness.

There appears to be a worldwide trend in using whey proteins in infant formula due to the superior quality and the resemblance of this to human milk proteins.

Heart's Whey Plus contains approximately 50 percent less milk sugar (lactose) than cow's milk. It has been estimated that 70 percent of the world population over four years old have lactose intolerance. Lactose intolerant people, after ingesting lactose may develop abdominal gas, cramping, diarrhea, acne, and other complications.

Heart's Whey Plus contains less lactose than yogurt or buttermilk; only 20-25 percent of the lactose in fermented (cultured) dairy products is converted to lactic acid by the fermentation process.

Heart's Whey Plus is considerably less allergenic than cow's milk, as based on studies by the University of California, Division of Immunology and Allergy. UCLA Medical Center showed that cow's milk contains 11 antigens where as this whey beverage contains only 5 antigens. The University of Southern California School of Medicine by Zach H. Hoddard, M.D., Director of Allergy and Immunology LAC USC Medical Center verified this allergy study with similar results.

Heart's Whey Plus follows the most recent dietary guidelines published by the American Heart Association. They are:

Extra grade USDA nonfat dry milk solids are allowed 50,000 bacterial cells per gram of powder as a measure of purity. This represents the cleanest USDA milk products classification. Our whey-based milk beverage averages about 500 cells per gram prior to adding our therapeutic cultures. This equates to (50,000/500 = 100) 100 times cleaner than USDA standards for nonfat dry milk.

Heart's Whey Plus is a 'life-sized' product which means it contains live therapeutic cultures both Bifedobactieium bifedum (Bifidus) and Lactobacillus acidophilus (acidophilus). These have been added in generous amounts sufficient to obtain an implant in the user. This is the Plus feature of Heart's Whey Plus. Lika and Heart's Whey do not contain these therapeutic cultures.

Several beneficial health effects have been documented. A summary given by Clem Honer, technical editor of Cheese Market News and Dairy Foods, Gormon Publishing include:

Heart's Whey Plus contains 168 million friendly, therapeutic organisms per serving. 84 million bifidus, 84 million acidophilus. We also add 15 percent of your USRDA of iron. Beast milk is notoriously low in iron and it is estimated that one-third of all US. children are nutritionally deficient in iron.

Keep the inside of your body as beautiful as the outside with, "Active Bifidus".

We are extremely optimistic about marketing our present whey-based beverage formula as a replacement for beast milk. Considering how infant formula has replaced beast milk in the western diet of infants, it seems probable that Heart's Whey Plus may become the world's leading choice as an animal alternative.
